Pressure regulating valves include pressure maintaining, reducing and relief valves to provide safe and efficient operating conditions and automatically respond to changes to maintain the set pressure. Depending on the inlet/outlet control pressure, flow capacity and temperature, PSM regulators are classified into six types: Type A-F.
