High-Temperature Desuperheater Control Valve Series 65000

It reduces the temperature of steam or any other saturated vapor, converting it into what is known as desuperheated or dry steam. Superheated steam passes through a section of piping where a spray nozzle, connected to a high-pressure fluid reservoir, disperses fine droplets. When these droplets contact the superheated steam, they evaporate almost instantly, absorbing the necessary heat from the steam and ultimately lowering its temperature.
